NERF N-Strike Elite Infinus N-Strike

NERF N-Strike Elite Infinus N-Strike blaster

Features

Includes 30 Elite darts

“Speed Load” Technology

30 round dart drum

Fully motorized blaster

Requires 4 D cell batteries

Every once and while Hasbro come up with some game changing tech to turn your blasting play on it’s head – not only is the NERF N-Strike Elite Infinus as impressive motorized blaster (more on that later) but it features revolutionary “Speed-Load Technology” which means you can keep feeding the blaster darts without the need to remove the included 30-dart drum to reload. If you hate having to stop the game to reload then this is definitely a blaster to consider.

As a motorized blaster, the Infinus has an impressive fire rate and is small enough to give you excellent agility on the field. If you have often looked at the larger motorized blasters and though them too bulky (*cough* Mastodon) we would recommend picking up an Infinus; an impressive innovative blaster.

The Infinus includes 2 tactical rails (front and back) located on top of the blaster meaning you can tweak, add and make it yours. We haven’t been so excited by a blaster in a long time, the speed load tech is truly game changing, we’ll no longer have nightmares of being caught in the middle of a firefight and realising we have to reload!

NERF N-Strike Elite Rukkus ICS-8

NERF N-Strike Elite Rukkus ICS-8

Features

Manual blaster

Pump action

Slam-fire

8 dart auto-indexing clip

Includes 8 NERF Elite darts

The N-Strike Elite Rukkus is a novel manual NERF gun. Rather than relying on removable magazines or breech-loading, the Rukkus makes use of an integrated 8 dart auto-indexing clip for rapid reloading. It’s a pretty fun gimmick and certainly shaves off some precious seconds when reloading – which can make all the difference in the heat of a blaster battle.

Now, a little more about that “auto-indexing” clip. The Rukkus’ 8 dart clip isn’t meant to be removed; instead it can slide between the top and bottom of the blaster. We recommend pushing the clip all the way through to the bottom and then load each chamber (from the front) – this will put you in the perfect position to begin firing.

To fire you have two options 1) Pump the slide-action priming mechanism (located on top of the blaster) and pull the trigger 2) hold down the trigger and “slam” the priming mechanism back and forth for rapid firing – each pump will shoot off the next round. As you fire, you will notice that the clip starts feeding (or “indexing”) through the barrel until you run out of darts. Once you have exhausted your clip, reload and slam the clip back to the bottom and viola, you are good to get back in the fight!

The Elite Rukkus is a fun blaster but without the auto-indexing clip it’s certainly nothing to write home about. Due to the clips limited dart capacity (8), even with the improved speed of reloading, it feels a little short on ammo. If you are looking to add some novelty to your arsenal – get a Rukkus but if you just want a functional blaster we would recommend looking at the RoughCut or even Disruptor.

NERF N-Strike Elite Rough Cut

Nerf N-Strike Elite Rough Cut 2X4 Blaster

Features

Double-barreled

Fire 2 darts at once

Pump action

Tactical Rail

Fires up to 75ft

Includes 16 Elite Darts

The Elite Rough Cut is the crème-de-la-crème of Nerf’s tactical blaster arsenal, the sleek blaster allows you to fire 2 darts at once and the pump action design means you can keep firing until you rise victorious! With a range of 75ft and the ability to launch up to 8 darts without reloading the Rough Cut will guarantee you own the field. The Rough Cut also features NERF’s tactical rail system allowing for additional customization with most N-Strike rail accessories. It may be small but the Rough Cut delivers the best bang for you buck.

NERF N-Strike Elite SurgeFire

Features

Manual blaster

Pump action

Slam-fire

15 dart rotating drum

1x Tactical rail

Includes 15 NERF Elite darts

Not going to lie, we did a double take when we first saw the Elite SurgeFire – it’s the spitting image of the NERF Mega RotoFury! On closer inspection though, it looks like Hasbro has taken the basics of what made the RotoFury great and improved them for the SurgeFire.

The SurgeFire is a pump action, slam-fire capable, blaster which features a 15 dart rotating drum (5 more darts than the RotoFury). So if you are looking for a NERF gun which can take a lot of ammo onto the blasting field then this could be the one for you.

Priming the SurgeFire is nice and easy – the priming mechanism is located at the front of the blaster and also acts as an stabilization handle (so your hand will never be too far away). Draw the mechanism back, pull the trigger and away you go! If you wanted to make use of the slam-fire feature, just hold the trigger down and each time you “pump” you’ll fire off another shot.

Thanks to the very generous 15 dart capacity you may find yourself winning a lot of blaster battles just because your opponents run out of ammo. We really like the SurgeFire – simple and with loads of capacity.

NERF N-Strike Elite Rampage

NERF N-Strike Elite Rampage blast

Features

25 dart drum

Includes 25 NERF Elite darts

Slam-fire action

Tactical rails

The NERF Rampage is a slam-fire beast. Featuring a 25 dart drum you certainly won’t be running out of firepower any time soon. If you need to lay down some serious coverage and don’t want to have to worry about silly things like accuracy then the Rampage may be the blaster for you, compared to some of the pricier blasters the Rampage offers great firepower at a relatively low cost.

Including 2 tactical rails (front and back) and ability to add a stock attachment the Rampage will satisfy all of your modding dreams and let you build a truly formable blaster. The blast comes with a 25 dart drum and 25 Elite darts so you have everything you need to get blasting straight out of the box.

NERF N-Strike Elite Titan CS-50

NERF N-Strike Elite Titan CS-50 blaster

Features

Includes 50 Elite darts

Includes 50 dart drum

Fully motorized

Requires 4 D cell batteries

Well, what can we say? The Titan is a mammoth NERF Blaster. If you are a firm believer in “bigger is better” then the Titan N-Strike Elite is the blaster for you (but do keep in mind the price tag…it’s pricey).

The Titan makes use of a 50(!) dart drum, letting you unleash a veritable dart hellstorm on your enemies. To add to the intimidation the Titan features a spinning barrel, allowing you to recreate your favourite Arnie moments in all their glory. To get this bad boy spinning, you’ll need to hold down the motor button (located under a hand flip cap) and then pull the trigger – with a 50 dart capacity, if anyone is left standing we’ll be damn impressed.

With great power comes great weight…the Titan weighs a hefty 2.2 pounds so you may not be sprinting around the field with this mammoth blaster but the included shoulder strap does help spread the load.

NERF N-Strike Elite Delta Trooper

NERF N-Strike Elite Delta Trooper blaster

Features

Includes 12 Elite Darts

Includes 12 dart clip

Includes blaster stock, barrel extension

Slam-fire action

The N-Strike Delta Trooper is a great way to get into NERF customization. Out of the box the Trooper is a basic looking blaster but Hasbro have thrown in a blaster stock and barrel extension – turn this small gun into an impressive NERF rifle! All you need to do is lock on the attachments and your sad looking blaster instantly turns into something formidable. The barrel extension even includes a tactical rail (located on top) so you can customize even more!

The Delta Trooper is a slam-fire action blaster which means you will need to prime the blaster (by “slamming” the priming mechanism located on top of the Trooper) before each shot. It may not have the same fire power as the Infinus but the included 12 dart clip does give you enough flexibility and ammunition and win the day.

NERF N-Strike Elite HyperFire Blaster

NERF N-Strike Hyper Fire Blaster

Features

The HyperFire is a joy to use. Once you have loaded the 25 dart drum by feeding darts into the top you are good to go. Like other automatic blasters the Hyper Fire features an acceleration button just below the main trigger, hold accelerator down and start raining down darts onto the blaster field. The actual blaster is quite compact and, all things considered, relatively light making it the perfect NERF gun for even the youngest fan.

The HyperFire comes with 25 N-Strike Elite darts and the 25 dart drum. However, you will need to pick yourself up 4 D batteries as they are not included. A seriously great blaster!

NERF N-Strike Elite CrossBolt Blaster

NERF N-Strike Elite CrossBolt Blaster

12-dart clip

The N-Strike Elite CrossBolt is a clip fed, cross bow action, single shot NERF gun. If you don’t mind having to cock the blaster after each shot then this is a great addition to any NERF arsenal.

With a range of up to 90ft the CrossBolt has some serious firepower, pair this with a seriously smooth pull back cocking mechanism and you have a winning formula. Once you have loaded up the 12 dart clip at the bottom of the blaster, simply slide back the cocking mechanism on top of the gun and you are ready to start NERFing your opponents.

If you are a fan of NERF’s crossbow blasters then you can’t go far wrong with the CrossBolt. The inclusion of a 12 dart clips means that this is one of the best stocked NERF crossbow on the market. The CrossBolt comes with 12 N-Strike Elite darts and clip so once you have got it out of the box you can start taking out your enemies.

NERF N-Strike Elite Blazin’ Bow Blaster

NERF N-Strike Blazin' Bow Blaster

Features

Real bow action

Fires up to 40ft

Fires giant foam arrows

2 Arrow storage

We have to be honest, the NERF N-Strike Blazin’ Bow isn’t our favorite blaster. Although the Blazin’ does look intimidating thanks to a 20 inch wingspan the actual blasting capabilities are somewhat lacking. The Blazin’ bow has a range of up to 40ft so when compared to something like the Strato Bow (85ft) it is found seriously wanting.

Negatives aside, the NERF N-Strike Blazin’ bow is a bow action, one shot NERF gun which fires giant foam arrows instead of the standard darts. Whilst the Blazin’ bow does feature real bow action it relies on a handle rather than the actual bow string, this makes it easier to fire than a conventional NERF bows, so it is good for those new to the game. The Blazin’ bow comes with 3 giant foam arrows and has storage for two arrows on the bow itself. If you really love bow guns check it out but we would recommend grabbing something different if this is going to be your first blaster.

NERF N-Strike Elite Pocketstrike

NERF N-Strike Elite Pocketstrike

Features

Pocket-size

Includes 3 NERF darts

The N-Strike Elite Pocketstrike is never going to be your main blaster but it can definitely help you out in a tight spot. The Pocketstrike is a barrel loaded, single shot blaster with a pull-down cocking handle located at the bottom of the gun. If you want to make sure you always have one shot left, pick up the N-Strike Elite Pocketstrike and surprise your enemies.

The Pocket strike is one of NERF’s smallest blaster and fits easily into your pocket. The blaster comes with 3 darts but can only ever have one loaded at a time. If you are looking for firepower or huge dart capacity look elsewhere but if you want an extra dart in your back pocket then this is well worth grabbing.

NERF N-Strike Elite BowStrike Blaster

NERF N-Strike Elite BowStrike Blaster blaster

Features

Includes 3 darts

Features a flip up sight

Another pocket blaster! We do love these diddy blasters from Hasbro and the N-Strike BowStrike is no exception. This cutie features a pull pack priming mechanism which engages two bow arms on either side of the blaster. Flip up the included sight and start picking off your enemies to your heart’s content!

The BowStrike fires one dart at a time and needs to be manually primed for each shot – it won’t win any prizes for speed of firepower but handy to have around when you find yourself need to pop off quick shots in the middle of the blasting field.

NERF N-Strike Elite Blow Dart Blaster

NERF N-Strike Elite Blow Dart Blaster blaster

Features

Includes 3 Elite darts

Shoots up to 55ft

Well, this little blaster is a treat. If you have ever wanted to recreate some kind of prehistoric battle but with foam darts, well now is your chance…

The NERF Elite blow dart blaster certainly doesn’t have the range or power of other guns available but if you are after a quirky gift or want to add some novelty to your collection then it’s worth a look.

The blow dart blaster has a alleged range of 55 feet (guess it depends on your lung capacity?) and features an easy grip handle for easy aiming and shooting. If you have ever used a blow gun before you’ll know that they offer incredible accuracy so not a bad option in a pinch. It even includes a tactical rail which means you can make use of various tactical attachments and accessories.
